, the 12th month in the Islamic calendar and another opportunity for the believers to get closer to their Khaliq and earn huge rewards.

Ramadan passed by and after a whole month of blessings, it is common for all of us to go through a faith crisis. We lose that zeal and urge to Allah(Azzawajjal) and earn rewards, shaytan distracts us and we get so busy in other stuff that we gradually forget to go in the right track. But Allah(Azzawajjal), loves His slaves, so He gives us chances upon chances to put efforts to please Him! And Dhul Hijjah is that opportunity to fight that faith crisis within us and start fresh!

A hadith goes this way:

It was narrated that from ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakrah, from his father, that the Prophet (SAW) said:
“Two months of ‘Eid whose reward cannot be reduced (even if they are twenty-nine days): ‘Ramaadan and Dhul-Hijjah.”

Grade : Sahih (Darussalam)
English reference : Vol. 1, Book 7, Hadith 1659
Arabic reference : Book 7, Hadith 1728

We unfortunately forget about this beautiful opportunity. The first 10 days of this month are very very very precious. Every good deed done in these, is very much beloved to Allah! Read this hadith..

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
“There are no days during which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these days,” meaning the (first) ten days of Dhul- Hijjah. They said: “O Messenger of Allah! Not even Jihad in the cause of Allah?” He said: “Not even Jihad in the cause of Allah, unless a man goes out with himself and his wealth and does not bring anything back.”

Grade : Sahih (Darussalam)
English reference : Vol. 1, Book 7, Hadith 1727
Arabic reference : Book 7, Hadith 1799

Subhan Allah! Such a glorious month we have in front of us! We don’t want to be fools by missing such an opportunity! Do we?.. surely not. So grab this chance and earn huge rewards. Every single deed will count in the akhirah, so don’t miss this. Now here we, the Sacred Daleel team, present to you a few tips to make use of this wonderful chance after Ramadan.

#1. Purify your Intentions :

Every action is based on the intention behind it. All of us know this. Pure the intention, immense the reward. But how do we actually have a purified intention and what it means to purify intentions.?

Basically we as humans have a tendency to impress the people around us, in doing so we lose the main purpose of every action of ours i.e, pleasing Allah(Azzawajjal). Whatever we do should wholly and solely be for the sake of Allah, i.e to please Him. This is what purifying intention means.

#2. Take action:

Once you made your mind that whatever you do will only be to please Allah(SWT), then it’s time to take action!

– Offer the 5 obligatory prayers, regularly and ON TIME!

– Take a step further and make efforts to offer the voluntary prayers too, especially Tahajjud.

– Do loads of dhikr, Tahmeed, and Takbeer!

– Recite Qur’an.

– Give charity.

Be in constant ibadah mode… apart from setting special times for your ibadah, keep your lips moist with dhikr.

#3. The Bumper Offer:

The Day of Arafat…. check this hadith.

It was narrated from Abu Qatadah that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:“Fasting on the Day of ‘Arafah, I hope from Allah, expiates for the sins of the year before and the year after.”

Grade : Sahih (Darussalam)
English reference : Vol. 1, Book 7, Hadith 1730
Arabic reference : Book 7, Hadith 1802

Subhan Allah, fasting on the day of Arafat expiates the sins of the year before and after.

What a grand deal! One day of fasting with sincere intention and the reward is so great. Allahu Akbar.

These three little steps and there you go! You will be able to fight the faith crisis in your heart and recharge your in San once again! Make a legible plan, balancing your everyday tasks and special ibadah. And what more just follow it!

Go and create your plan now! Once you delay a good task, shaytan diverts you and makes you forget about it. Don’t let that happen.

May Allah make it easy for us to utilize this chance! Ameen!
